Our mission is to deliver comprehensive human services that empower people to achieve their goals in life.
Since Therapeutic Alternatives, Inc. was established in 1958, administrators, management, and staff have earned the trust and respect of state health authorities as well as the people and families they serve. In a day when agencies with extensive and diverse experience in health care are seriously needed, Therapeutic Alternatives, Inc. continues to expand in terms of human resources, clinical knowledge, and creative programs to meet the needs of hundreds of North Carolina citizens. Through criminal background checks and an array of other preliminary procedures, human resources and training personnel guarantee that qualified and compassionate people are hired, trained, and house-specific/consumer-specific oriented prior to beginning work.
Some of our direct-care professionals have delivered services to the same people and families and under the same supervisors for several years, a sure symbol of success. Some of the services and programs provided by Therapeutic Alternatives, Inc. are Targeted Case Management, Community Support, Community Alternatives Program - Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities (CAP-MR/DD), Out-Patient Therapy, Psychiatric Services, One-on-One Support, Residential Group Home and Assisted Living Care.
