On Saturday, October 23, 2010, Therapeutic Alternatives and the Cap and Mabel Burrow Foundation spearheaded the clean-up of the cemetery on Caraway Mountain Road. The remains of indigent people, estimated in the hundreds, were buried on the site beginning in the mid 1800s and as recently as 1935. Thank you to the many volunteers who participated in this worthy mission and literally spread sunshine over the bodies of people whose lives and circumstances we can only imagine.

 

Just one of many examples of teaching the next generation about our duty to do our part in expressing our appreciation of and respect for people without expecting anything in return.
